On Saturday evening, the women will line up for the Tour de Suisse 2022. After the men finish in Malbun, the women take on a 4.6 kilometre circuit in and around Vaduz, which will be ridden ten times. This short stage promises a fast and exciting race. Approximately 60 metres of altitude have to be mastered per lap. Special attention should be paid to a tricky climb in Vaduz. All those aiming for the General Classification must keep their wits about them here. Similar to the first stage of the men’s race, the Tour cannot be won here, but it can very well be lost.
Vaduz is home to the royal residence and Capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Bordered by Austria and Switzerland, Liechtenstein offers a wide range of activities for outdoor enthusiasts.
The famous Vaduz Castle towers over the town and is the home of the Princely Family.
